"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news."
Growing in the Gospel
For more than 65 years, Emmanuel Baptist has been serving the community of Fallbrook. Today, we are a body of disciples who are committed to making more disciples in the Friendly Village and beyond.
We love to pray together, sing together, eat together, and study God's Word together, remembering that the key in our togetherness is "God with us."
What's Unique About EBC?
We seek to be known as a gospel-shaped community of people who pray, read and break bread together; who love our bibles; who honor tradition and orthodoxy while living fully in the present and looking forward to Christ’s return; who walk in repentance and worship with hearts fixed on Christ; and who are recognized by our unhurried love for one another.
PRAYER
Learn to pray spiritually and live in prayer with your brothers and sisters.
“‘Answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people may know that you, O Lord, are God, and that you have turned their hearts back.’ Then the fire of the Lord fell.”
— 1 Kings 18:37–38
SCRIPTURE
Read daily and discuss weekly as God applies His Word to our lives.
"So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
— Isaiah 55:11
DISCIPLESHIP
Be transformed by the gospel as you serve the church’s mission to multiply.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
— Matthew 28:17–18
TABLE
Eat and drink and remember, in the body, what Christ has done for you.
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
— 1 Corinthians 11:26

Frequently asked questions ordered by popularity. Remember that if the visitor has not committed to the call to action, they may still have questions (doubts) that can be answered.
Emmanuel Baptist is part of the Southern Baptist Convention. We hold to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, with an emphasis on discipleship.
We practice open communion, and so welcome all who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. All services and bible studies are open, as well (non-members welcome). Anyone who has made a profession of faith, affirms our core doctrinal standards, and commits to be an active part of the Emmanuel Baptist family is welcome to become a member.
We dress casually, in keeping with the So Cal culture around us, but a tie and jacket wouldn't be out of place, either. Think comfortable and presentable.
Yes! Everything we do is geared toward discipleship, which is summed up by the Apostle Paul in Col. 1:28 as "presenting everyone mature in Christ." To this end, we spend a lot of time and energy discipling and training our members how to disciple others. At Emmanuel, you can expect to be invited to participate in the growth and transformation process that is meant by the word "discipleship."
We have a preschool program for children too young to sit quietly through a service; all others are welcome to join us in the sanctuary. We also have a cry room available for moms with babies.
All services and meetings are held at our location at 911 E. Elder Street in Fallbrook.

We sing hymns, psalms and carefully selected modern worship songs. Our highest musical priority is to facilitate the robust, spirited singing of the congregation, which means a modest acoustic style that's not loud, but tastefully contemporary.
This is one of those words whose definition varies from church to church. Typically, it means something like "spiritual mentorship." At Emmanuel, however, we mean something very specific by the word "discipleship"—to us, it defines the crucial process of learning to live all of life from the gospel. This is carried out by leaders and laypeople who have already been discipled. For further guidance, please visit our blog and sample the posts categorized "Discipleship."
We typically host a potluck lunch on the first Sunday of every month. We also host vacation bible school every summer, and a variety of other special events throughout the year. Please check our blog and/or social media for upcoming events.
